The following errors can be found  in the shootout data at NHL.com.  An email was sent to the NHL webmaster, but there has been no response and the errors have not been corrected.

1. In the 2007-08 season, Chris Kunitz of the Anaheim Ducks took 6 shootout shots, not 5.  His career shootout shots at NHL.com are also off by one.  It appears that the NHL statisticians missed the shootout attempt by Kunitz against Erik Ersberg of the Los Angeles Kings on March 26, 2008.  The shootout attempt appears in the raw data, but is not included in the stats for either player at NHL.com.

2. In the 2007-08 season, goalie Erik Ersberg of the Los Angeles Kings faced 10 shootout shots, not 9.  His career shootout shots at NHL.com are also off by one.  It appears that the NHL statisticians missed the shootout attempt against Ersberg by Anaheim's Chris Kunitz on March 26, 2008.  The shootout attempt appears in the raw data, but is not included in the stats for either player at NHL.com.
